It has been 65 years since I first became engrossed with the “Futomaki of Chiba”. I wrote and published the first book about “Futomaki Matsuri Sushi ” in 1985.Many more people became interested in it than I could have imagined.Over the years, many capable subordinates, students, and fellow nutritionists have cooperated with me.How lucky I am to be a teacher loved by them.
The formative art of Futomaki Matsuri Sushi is a very special technique. We have to continue to develop, record and preserve the traditions and techniques of our the local people. We should make an effort to preserve Japanese traditions.
It is important to leave behind cultural heritage.I would like to kindly ask for everyone’s help and cooperation in this.
